About The Position

To promote and sell the company's product line and services through good customer service and effective sales techniques to business contractors at the sales office, job sites, and customer's place of business.

Requirements

  • Must obtain a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent work experience to the degree.
  • Must have several years of industry experience.
  • Must obtain the following skills: oral and written communication skills, diplomacy, customer relations, closing techniques, presentation, and product demonstration.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell company product lines, supplies, and services through visiting and contacting prospects using established company sales techniques including occasional travel to customer's office.
  • Provide customers with product price quotations, details regarding product availability and warranty information and procedures.
  • Collect and report competitive information to sales manager.
  • Aids in collections at manager's direction.
  • Work with inside sales representative on a daily basis to maintain accounts.
  • Maintain good customer relations, troubleshoot and become involved in problem resolution.
  • Interface with accounts receivable, troubleshoot and become involved in problem resolution.
  • Occasionally make joint calls with vendors, sales managers, or other salesmen.
  • Attend various functions, seminars, training programs, banquets, or other job site meetings as required to maintain business relationships and keep current on building codes and product knowledge.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
