Glacier Technology, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Industrial Distributor specializing in air filtration and dust collection for the manufacturing sector, we collaborate with engineers, plant personnel, and contractors to address air quality challenges. Our diverse client base spans industries from pharmaceuticals to heavy manufacturing, dealing with various dust, smoke, and fumes generated during manufacturing processes. Our primary goal is to assist companies in achieving OSHA compliance while optimizing their plant air usage. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will be instrumental in promoting a newly signed product line tailored for the machining industry, alongside our established product offerings. The representative will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our existing dealer network and customer base, as well as identifying new sales opportunities. Daily activities will include visiting plants to assess their filtration needs, providing quotes for appropriate equipment, and engaging with contractors and engineering firms to specify our products for new projects. The position requires a proactive approach to meet or exceed sales goals and gross profit objectives. The representative will regularly engage with assigned accounts to generate sales across all product lines and will be tasked with opening new accounts within their designated area. Collaboration with company employees is essential to ensure the successful sale of all product lines. The representative will also develop quotations that align with corporate profit objectives and provide valuable feedback on pricing, service, new products, quality, customer needs, and competition to relevant stakeholders within the company. Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and customers is crucial to promote the company's image and reputation, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues that may arise. The representative will also assist with customer application needs, quoting, and closing sales, while participating in sales meetings and trade shows as required. Additionally, involvement in marketing planning and strategy implementation for the company's product lines will be expected as opportunities arise. The representative will maintain our CRM program (Zoho) and provide accurate documentation of expenses, reports, account activities, and other necessary information.
