Requirements

  • Experience in sales, optimally outside sales within the building materials or construction industries.
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth.
  • Knowledge or experience within building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
  • Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage own time and responsibilities, organize and plan.
  • Able to learn and proficiently use CRM to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in the assigned territory.
  • Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually.
  • Serve as a business advisor towards customers.
