As an Outside Sales Representative with Pierce Pump, you will spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their pump, rotating equipment and compression needs. Strong existing customer base!

Requirements

• Proven outside sales experience within the industrial marketplace.
• Knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment, and compressors preferred.
• Previous experience with Process Flow Control equipment required; including Pumps (Slurry, Centrifugal, Process, Diaphragm, Vacuum, Positive Displacement, etc.), Mechanical Seals, rotating equipment, and Industrial Process Systems strongly desired.
• Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
• Computer proficiency including MS Office; experience with SAP/ERP/P-21 is a plus!
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Retain current customer base while developing new business, building repeat sales and managing a territory.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.
• Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
• Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
• Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategies.
