The Outside Sales Representative at East Bay Welding Supply is responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships in the Martinez territory.   • Develops new business and maintains existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets.
  • Responsible for gross profit improvement.
  • Plans and organizes activities and resources to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments.
  • Secures long-term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements.
  • Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data.
  • Maintains a list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads.
  • Conducts competitive intelligence.
  • Demonstrates products to new account customers.
  • Manages territory budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 5 years of outside/B2B sales experience
  • Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
