About The Position

Empire Today is looking for go-getters to meet face-to-face with our customers in their homes and help find the best flooring products for their needs. Hot leads generally within a 1-hour radius. Customers have called Empire and asked for an in-home flooring estimate. Plus, you can use the strength of the well-known brand to generate even more money through referrals and prospecting additional customers! The role is a 100% commission + commission bonus opportunity. Outside Sales Consultants on average earn $50k - $70k the first year, with top performers earning well over $100k. Company benefits packages available. Huge earning potential with no earnings cap. Earn while you learn! New employee consultants receive paid training to learn the business.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and vehicle with room for roughly 50 sample boards.
• Valid auto insurance.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
• Availability for evening & weekend appointments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Familiarity with flooring products.

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face with customers in their homes to provide flooring product estimates.
• Achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually.
• Use a tablet device and laser measuring device for diagramming and contract preparation.
• Present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel.
