Whether you come from AV, construction, or another solution-based sales background, if you’re a confident and hungry seller who thrives outside the office, they’re ready to invest in your success. This is a true outside sales role built for a driven, relationship-oriented professional. You’ll spend your time in the field—meeting with builders, architects, designers, general contractors, and end users to uncover and close new business. You’ll be the tip of the spear in a territory ripe with opportunity, backed by a company that values quality work and long-term client relationships. If you're energized by prospecting, comfortable navigating job sites and design studios, and love being out in the community making connections—this is your role.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outside sales or territory sales experience (construction/AV/technical sales preferred, but not required)
  • Proven track record of self-sourced sales success
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable selling to diverse audiences—from builders to homeowners
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals
  • Willingness to travel locally and attend events outside traditional office hours when needed

Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business – Proactively identify and pursue opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and high-end homeowners.
  • Engage the Market – Represent the company at job sites, industry events, builder association meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Relationship Building – Establish strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across the construction and design ecosystem.
  • Consultative Selling – Guide prospects through the sales process from scoping to proposal, supported by internal proposal writers.
  • Pipeline Management – Balance longer-cycle commercial opportunities with quicker residential wins.
  • Territory Development – Strategically grow market presence within your assigned geographic area.
