About The Position

Our client's company is a family-owned business that specializes in providing a broad range of industrial supplies, including hardware, abrasives, drill bits, electrical supplies, spray paint, and more. Their focus is on serving the construction, manufacturing, OEM, and farming industries. This role offers health insurance, a company vehicle, company phone, gas card, and a strong growth opportunity within an expanding territory. They are currently seeking a dedicated Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a well-established territory in the Eugene/Springfield area. This role is a blend of account management and new business development, ideal for someone who relishes building long-term relationships and actively seeking new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Mid-level outside sales experience, preferably in industrial supply, fasteners, or related markets
  • Comfortable managing an existing book of business while actively prospecting
  • Self-motivated, organized, and relationship-driven
  • Experience selling to blue-collar, industrial, or manufacturing customers preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing base of 250 active industrial customers
  • Re-engage past customers and develop new business within the territory
  • Prospect and close new accounts across manufacturing, fabrication, lumber, agriculture, and equipment-building industries
  • Sell a broad range of industrial supplies, including fasteners, abrasives, nuts, bolts, and related products
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits and provide solutions-based sales support
  • Partner with internal teams and branch locations to support customer needs
  • Balance responsibilities between account farming and new business hunting (approximately 50/50)
