About The Position
Lindsay Precast Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development/Outside Sales Representative focused on revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development and closing new business. This role involves selling new business, developing strong partnerships, and helping the company expand into new industries and markets. The representative must work closely with operations to provide a customer experience that leads to repeat business. Products include Utility structures, Box culverts, Arches, Tunnels, 3 Sided Structures Junctions Chambers, Foundations, and converting Cast in Place Concrete To Precast Solutions.
Requirements
- Three years of related experience
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energy integration industries
- Willing to travel as needed
- Strong understanding of materials and product drawings
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the desire to growth
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
Responsibilities
- Delivering sales growth and new opportunities
- Developing new opportunities in other industries, including oil and gas, energy, mining, industrial, renewable energy solutions, and transportation
- Responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop customer trust and confidence
- Effectively position the Company’s products and services as the solution to the client’s needs
- Identify and recommend new and/or enhanced products or service feature needs by soliciting feedback from clients, monitoring industry trends, and tracking the competitive environment to drive growth
- Negotiate contracts and utilize successful order closing strategies to secure orders
