About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our St Paul, MN branch! This role is ideal for someone who excels at building relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer support in a fast‑paced environment. Base salary starts at $69K/year + monthly commissions.

Requirements

Candidates must have the ability and motivation to prospect new customers as well as maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
An ability to grasp the industries we serve and ultimately provide excellent customer service, quality products and long-term solutions to our customers in those industries is crucial.
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
Must have valid driver’s license to participate in the Company Car program.
Requires a minimum of a HS diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude or engineering knowledge a plus.
Experience in plastics or industrial sales strongly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Travels throughout assigned territory to pursue and acquire new business and maintains existing business.
Plans sales activities and monitors industry and competitor trends.
Provides applications assistance by determining customer needs; creating and upgrading product applications; and sourcing products for customers.
Presents, reviews and negotiates quotes and contracts, provides feedback to questions from account managers and centralization and assists in credit collection.
Confers and shares customer information with account and branch managers and prepares sales reports.
