About The Position

AKE Safety Equipment, founded in 1989, is a market-leading fire safety equipment manufacturing and sales company operating nationally with a network of dealers and sales representatives. They are seeking confident, driven, and experienced outside sales representatives in agricultural areas nationwide. These sales representatives are expected to be 'road warriors,' selling STOP-FYRE directly to farmers by driving farm-to-farm. The position is a 1099 outside-sales role, offering the freedom to control one's schedule, income, and destiny with strong team support.

Requirements

  • Many years of sales experience
  • Extremely competitive, always expecting to win
  • Connection to the Agricultural community (grew up on a farm, worked on a farm, or done business with farmers)
  • Background in construction and/or excavation (worked in construction, sold to the construction industry, sold for a construction company, or owned own construction business)
  • Entrepreneurial (independent, self-driven, self-motivated, and business-minded)
  • Committed to helping others (often worked as a firefighter, law enforcement, military or EMT)
  • Performers: experienced hunters who can prove successes
  • Willing: trainable individuals who embrace new ideas
  • Ambitious: no excuse mentality with a burning desire to succeed
  • Independent: self-driven and self-motivated people
  • Passionate: truly cares about the customer, product, and team
  • Trustworthy: in line with core values
