This opportunity offers a combination of base salary and uncapped commission while building relationships with homeowners, business owners, and key decision makers. Your territory includes Madison County, Hinds County, and Rankin County , with opportunities to expand the territory throughout Florence, Byram, Raymond, Clinton, Gluckstadt and beyond! SUMMARY: Vector Security is seeking a Sales Solutions Representative! In this field-based role, you will generate new opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings with potential customers. After attending our structured training program , you'll be able to successfully assess customer needs and recommend customized security solutions including alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, fire systems, and smart home technology. Candidates from a variety of outside sales environments often excel in this role , including security systems, alarm or access control sales, HVAC or building systems sales, telecom or cable sales, solar, pest control, or other territory-based consultative sales roles. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required ; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success in previous sales or performance-driven positions , including meeting or exceeding established goals or targets
  • Experience in outside sales, door-to-door sales, retail sales, or other customer-facing roles strongly preferred
  • Ability to proactively prospect and generate sales opportunities through networking, referrals, social media, relationship building, and in-person engagement
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to initiate conversations, build trust quickly, and clearly demonstrate the value of Vector’s products
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required
  • Successful candidates are motivated self-starters who enjoy building relationships in their community, managing their own territory, and developing a strong sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for residential and commercial customers within your territory
