Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Proven track record in sales, with asphalt paving or other construction industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to adapt to client needs and overcome challenges.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet company goals and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while building and nurturing relationships with both potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs.
  • Manage key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and proactively addressing issues.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and tailored proposals to secure new business and foster strong partnerships.
  • Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving objectives.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and extend our client base.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager, providing regular updates and insights on sales progress.
