About The Position

FASTSIGNS of Alcoa is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and expand existing accounts throughout Blount County and the surrounding region. This role is responsible for generating new opportunities, conducting on-site consultations, and delivering signage solutions that help businesses grow their visibility and brand presence. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role with strong earning potential for individuals who are self-driven, professional, and skilled at building long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in signage, printing, construction, or related industries
  • Established local business relationships in Blount County / Knoxville area
  • CRM experience
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
  • Build relationships with local businesses, property managers, contractors, developers, and corporate clients
  • Actively develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline
  • Client Consultation & Solution Selling
  • Meet with clients on-site to assess signage needs, measure spaces, and recommend solutions
  • Present FASTSIGNS products and services including interior signs, exterior signs, vehicle graphics, dimensional letters, monument signs, banners, and more
  • Provide professional recommendations that align with the client’s brand and budget
  • Sales Process Management
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations
  • Follow up consistently to close opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Account Management
  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Identify repeat and expansion opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Market Presence
  • Represent FASTSIGNS at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
  • Maintain strong knowledge of local business environment and competitors
