Rentals To Go, founded in 2000 in Norwich, New York, started as a portable toilet business and has since expanded significantly. Today, it has offices in Texas, Florida, and several branches across Upstate New York, providing services nationwide. Their offerings now include portable bunk houses, campers, flushable restroom trailers, laundry facilities, mobile command centers, light towers, refrigeration units, water storage containers, temporary fencing, and generators. The company's mission is to enhance customer lives by delivering superior equipment and services, consistently creating the best 'home away from home' experience. They are committed to maintaining a safe work environment and a family-like culture. Due to growth, Rentals To Go is seeking a talented, hard-working, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative who enjoys the outdoors and a fast-paced environment to join their team.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry
  • Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Customer Relationship development
  • Ability to sell value to differentiate Rentals To Go from the competition
  • Prospecting / Cold Calling / Referral generation
  • Customer Service

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Review competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development
  • Network with businesses in the territory and build relationships and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business.
  • Build the company within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
  • Work to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the Director of Sales
  • Target potential customers and assess opportunities for sales
  • Arrange meetings with potential customers and sell product offerings
  • Follow up on sales leads from other representatives within the organization
  • Produce quotes and orders as well as documenting sales activities and leveraging business intelligence through CRM.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Utilize CRM software, to track sales activities and update customer information
  • Local Travel-80%
  • Other duties as assigned
