About The Position

FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for growing revenue, margin, and market share for a flow control portfolio across refining, petrochemical, midstream, power and industrial accounts. This role owns the day-to-day commercial relationship with end users, EPCs, and key vendor partners, driving bookings through account management, solution selling and field coordination with service operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retaining customers and developing new business, building repeat sales, and managing a territory.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account strategies for top regional sites (refineries, chemical plants, terminals, power/industrial facilities) including opportunity mapping, call cadence, and multi-level stakeholder coverage.
  • Grow market share through cross selling and upgrading.
  • Experience selling control valves, actuation, instrumentation, and aftermarket services.
  • Computer proficiency including MS office, SAP/ERP/P-21 a plus!
  • Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Valves and automation-instrumentation-flow control knowledge preferred!

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined territory plan to delivery bookings, revenue, and gross margin targets.
  • Develop and execute account strategies for top regional sites; refineries, chemical plants, terminals, power/industrial facilities.
  • Grow market share through cross selling and upgrading severe service, critical isolation, control valves, actuation, instrumentation, and aftermarket service.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline (CRM) with accurate close dates, probability, and margin visibility.
  • Conduct regular site visits, lead customer meetings, and coordinate plant walkdowns to identify MRO and project opportunities.
  • Support outage/turnaround planning with customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Procurement.
