We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative for the Houston and surrounding areas in the Power Generation markets. FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue, margin and market share for a flow control portfolio for the Power Generation Market. This role owns the day-to-day commercial relationship with power producers and related EPCs, OEMs, general contractors, and key vendor partners, driving bookings through account management, solution selling and field coordination with service operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined territory plan to deliver bookings, revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Develop and execute account strategies for top regional sites (utility and non-utility power generating facilities), as well as related EPCs, OEMs, general contractors and other supporting stakeholders, including opportunity mapping, call cadence, and multi-level stakeholder coverage.
  • Grow market share through selling across product lines and upgrading severe service, critical isolation valves, control valves, actuation, instrumentation and aftermarket service.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline (CRM) with accurate close dates, probability and margin visibility.
  • Conduct regular site visits, lead customer meetings and coordinate plant walkdowns to identify MRO and project opportunities.
  • Support outage/turnaround planning with customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Procurement.
