Requirements

  • 2+ years of dealership parts experience (counter, wholesale, or related) or outside sales experience in automotive/heavy-duty parts
  • Strong understanding of automotive or truck parts and service operations
  • Proven ability to build relationships and grow a book of business
  • Self-starter mentality with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and closing skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CDK, OPS, CCC, or OEC is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Grow wholesale parts sales by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Actively prospect and build relationships with independent repair shops, body shops, and fleet accounts
  • Promote Cavender Toyota’s parts and service capabilities to drive consistent business to the dealership
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, sales calls, and follow-ups within your assigned territory
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored parts and service solutions
  • Prepare quotes, close sales, and ensure a seamless customer experience from order to delivery
  • Partner with internal parts and service teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Track activity, manage accounts, and maintain strong communication with leadership on opportunities and growth
  • Stay current on product knowledge, inventory, and industry trends
