Outside Sales Representative

About The Position

ORE is looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven outside sales representative to generate leads and drive sales to meet established sales goals and customer expectations of an Outstanding Rental Experience. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proven outside sales experience.
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Generating leads consistent with ORE strategic plan.
Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
Negotiating, preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Communicating ORE’s competitive advantages in the market.
Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
