About The Position

Hodge Industrial Technologies is a leading provider of mission-critical compressed air systems for manufacturing facilities, renowned for delivering urgent, reliable solutions that keep customer production running smoothly. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will operate as the owner of a defined territory, managing the full sales cycle and building long-term customer relationships within the manufacturing sector. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening customer relationships across a defined territory. You will be the face of Hodge Industrial Technologies, responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B outside or field sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory for on-site customer visits

  • B2B sales experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Experience managing a sales territory
  • Experience with account development, including growing and retaining existing accounts
  • Experience using a major CRM and modern sales tools
  • Experience selling or servicing industrial-sized air compressors or compressed air systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a designated sales territory, overseeing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure and ongoing account development.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through on-site visits, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and present customized compressed air system solutions, collaborating with service and engineering teams to ensure technical fit and successful implementation.
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to enhance retention and maximize lifetime value.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and accountability to address customer needs and deliver reliable solutions.
