About The Position

Our client, a leading provider of lighting solutions for residential, multifamily, and commercial applications, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in the selling process, from initial contact to ensuring accurate and timely product delivery. This is a remote position, with the option to utilize office space if desired.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Proven track record in sales, with the ability to effectively sell products and services.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the lighting industry or similar client base is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to bring a "book of business" and/or existing contacts within the industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and designers.
  • Collaborate with clients on the design aspect of lighting projects.
  • Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Leverage your own contacts and actively hunt for new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the in-house marketing/business development manager to generate leads.
