The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by managing relationships with current and prospective clients. This full-time position offers significant earning potential through a base salary and unlimited commissions, with minimal travel required as most opportunities are available locally in Houston.

  • Manage all aspects of engagement with assigned current and future clients by creating and maintaining relationships.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement individual sales plans and programs that support the company's growth strategy.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings by sharing activity updates, providing suggestions for new opportunities, and providing key feedback from clients.
  • Ensure timely and thorough follow up to clients regarding quotes, orders, inquiries, etc.
  • Track orders and communicate any delays or issues to customers in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Accurately enter RFQ information into CRM/Quote Tool, and update throughout the sales process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in manufacturing or service sales.
  • Self-starter with the ability to build internal and external client relationships easily.
  • Goal-oriented and a team player.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and use simple software suite including CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • No outside sales experience required, but candidates should demonstrate the skill and will to succeed in the role.
