About The Position

We're looking for individuals with integrity, a results-driven mentality, and the ability to adapt to different customer personalities and company policies. A positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and professionalism are key to success in this role. As a Culligan Sales Rep, you'll spend much of your time in the field, traveling within your assigned territory. You'll work in various environments, from residential to industrial settings, and enjoy flexible work hours to accommodate customer meetings and events. Be prepared for physical demands like lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.

Requirements

  • B2B sales experience is preferred, not required.
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer and tablet use.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a driving record check and remain insurable.
  • Practice safe driving, keep a clean workspace, and maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening checks.
  • Ability to lift up to 90lbs on a repetitive basis.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through various methods including canvassing, door-knocking, cold calls, emails, and networking to build a strong pipeline.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and demonstrate product value.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our products and services, continuously learning about new offerings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records with detailed documentation.
