About The Position

As an Outside Sales Representative specializing in temporary fabric structures at Sunbelt Rentals, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, building, and maintaining relationships with customers, and providing exceptional service. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years Sales experience preferably in the construction, equipment rental, or related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customers' needs, preferences, and project requirements to recommend appropriate temporary fabric solutions and additional equipment or services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, contractors, and industry partners to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive rental quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with customers' budgets and timelines.
  • Negotiate rental agreements, terms, and conditions with customers while maximizing profitability and adhering to company policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth and strategic positioning.
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-rental follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and rental transactions using company CRM software and other tools.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise through training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning initiatives.
