  • Responsible for prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
  • Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area.
  • Work closely with the local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships.
  • Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in the CRM system; currently Atlas.
  • Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments to secure quota.
  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and changes within the financial technology industry.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license necessary for regular driving to visit client sites.
  • Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment.
  • Live in area relative to job posting location.
  • Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.
