Ferguson is seeking a proven Outside Sales Representative - Plumbing to support customers in the North & South Carolina area. This field-based sales role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The position requires a self-motivated individual dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of a multi-billion-dollar organization.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years industry-related sales experience is preferred.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills.
• General digital literacy and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base.
• Work with branch associates to ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and target new accounts.
• Perform product quotations and resolve customer issues.
• Analyze competition in the territory and devise sales strategies accordingly.
• Document all sales activities in the internal Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce).
• Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge.
