About The Position

The Outside Sales Representative drives business growth for D&S Automotive and Defender Auto Glass by developing and maintaining relationships with dealerships, fleet accounts, and other automotive businesses across Northeast Ohio. This individual will promote core services, including Collision Repair, Aftermarket Accessories, and Automotive Glass Repair and Replacement. Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time, with travel throughout Northeast Ohio Reports To: Regional Collision Center Manager and Owner/CEO/President Benefits and Compensation: Hourly rate up to $40.00, based on experience; mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business-related travel, this position is classified as an independent contractor (1099) and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in automotive sales, B2B sales, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to travel locally within Northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, fleet accounts, and other automotive businesses. Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads to drive sales growth.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities and pursue leads to grow sales.
  • Territory Visits: Conduct regular visits to prospective and existing customers.
  • Service Presentation: Present company services professionally and persuasively.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and customer service.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report leads, follow-ups, and sales activity in a timely manner.
  • Territory Strategy: Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed goals.
  • Community Engagement: Represent both brands at events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current on automotive repair, accessories, and glass trends.
  • Professionalism: Consistently demonstrate honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
