About The Position

We are currently accepting applications for our next Outside Sales Training Class, beginning Monday, January 26, 2026. This comprehensive training program will last approximately 5–6 weeks, depending on weather conditions. Training includes both classroom instruction and hands-on field experience, preparing you for success in the field and future growth opportunities within R3 Roofing & Exteriors. This is a paid training program, and participation is required for all new hires. At R3 Roofing & Exteriors, we’re not just restoring homes—we’re creating career opportunities for individuals who want to lead, earn, and grow. As an Outside Sales Representative 1 (also called a Setter), you’ll start in the field, meeting homeowners and introducing them to R3’s services. Your main focus will be to offer complimentary property inspections—you won’t be performing the inspection yourself. Once a homeowner agrees to an inspection, you’ll hand the opportunity off to an Outside Sales Representative 2 (the Closer), who completes the inspection and finalizes the contingency agreement. This structure allows you to focus on what you do best: meeting people, building rapport, and generating quality leads that turn into sales. Requirements

  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset—no prior sales experience required
  • Willingness to work outdoors and knock doors 5 days per week
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Coachability and a drive to succeed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Engage with homeowners in residential neighborhoods between our “hours of success” (12 PM – 8 PM)
  • Offer free property inspections—you’ll generate interest and schedule appointments for the Closer, not perform inspections yourself
  • Work closely with your assigned Closer to ensure a smooth handoff and excellent homeowner experience
  • Turn great service into referrals and repeat business
  • Show up daily with energy, positivity, and professionalism
  • Learn from experienced leaders and grow within the company
