Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in commercial printing, packaging, or marketing services.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes is a plus.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business within an assigned geographic territory through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by identifying additional needs and opportunities.
  • Conduct in-person client meetings to assess needs and present customized printing and marketing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal estimating, production, and customer service teams to ensure accurate quotes and successful project execution.
  • Manage the full sales cycle -- from prospecting and quoting to closing and post-sale follow-up.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and product recommendations.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent the company at local events, networking opportunities, and client visits.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions.
  • Travel regularly within assigned territory (daily local travel with occasional overnight travel as needed).
