About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop new relationships with builders, architects, and designers of luxury residential homes that will provide growth and revenue opportunities for Glenn Rieder Residential, LLC (dba Palm City Millwork). Product experience in custom millwork, trim, windows & doors (both custom and those manufactured by 3rd parties i.e.: PGT, Andersen, ES, WinDoor), hardware, and interior door packages. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in common computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ideally, this person will have a proven track record of millwork sales excellence within the luxury residential construction industry. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in architectural millwork related to the luxury residential construction industry.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work under time sensitive pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to read drawings/blueprints and understand finish specifications.
  • Ability to manage priorities throughout the entire process of complicated residential millwork projects.
  • Strong product knowledge in exterior windows and doors, combined with the Florida Building Code.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and professionally within a team environment as well as independently.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and develop strong relationships within PCM’s core business structure and within the product groupings mentioned above.
  • Develop strong lasting business relationships with individuals from key accounts.
  • Seek-out, network, and identify bidding opportunities.
  • Work with estimators, detailers, shops, and PCM leadership to ensure a consultative selling process for our clients.
  • Provide the drafting team with all relevant information including sales information, drawing changes, and finishing specifications.
  • Strong follow-up skill to ensure the best chance of a winning proposal.
  • Liaison with clients’ build teams, including job-site personnel, to coordinate manufacturing schedules and job-site deliveries.
  • Participate in sales meetings for progress review of open jobs, proposals, and job-specific requirements.
  • This position will be responsible for sales & marketing geography to include; Naples, Ft. Myers, and surrounding areas.
