About The Position

The position represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, soliciting new customers, generating sales, and acting as a liaison between inside design staff, production staff, and customers in developing sales proposals. The majority of daily activities are spent away from the employer’s place of business making sales calls and obtaining orders or contracts for services and products. The role involves researching, identifying, and soliciting new customers, generating sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition, and effective demonstration of the features and benefits of company products and services. Additionally, the position requires taking measurements and collecting specification information at the customer’s site, developing an understanding of customer needs, and matching those needs with company products and services. The candidate will effectively plan and conduct sales presentations for current and prospective customers, design professional presentations of company products and services, and provide clarification on how the company can meet specific customer needs. The role also includes resolving issues or handing them off to the appropriate employee for resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of industry sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
