About The Position

Yerecic Label is seeking a high-energy, motivated, and self-driven Outside Sales Professional to manage and grow relationships with fresh food manufacturers, processors, growers, and retailers in the Northeast US. This role involves taking ownership of a well-established territory, focusing on nurturing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities. The primary goal is to drive double-digit annual sales growth by strengthening partnerships and expanding market presence in the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a print-related field preferred.
  • 3+ years in sales, purchasing, merchandising, or operations within the food industry preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and understand customer needs.
  • Familiarity with printing and label production; Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual Selling experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to identify solutions aligned with client goals and independently resolve challenges.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, with flexibility for short-notice trips and self-booking within guidelines.

  • Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new account prospects that meet target account qualifications.
  • Contact new leads and referrals using Sales Toolkit Center and Sales Playbook materials.
  • Prepare for trade shows by warming up leads, scheduling meetings, and crafting pre-show strategies; conduct thorough post-show follow-up to nurture leads and convert opportunities.
  • Create relevant sales presentations and proposals using provided materials.
  • Provide detailed meeting follow-up and record weekly activity via Salesforce.
  • Maintain frequent and clear communication with all accounts using valid business reasons.
  • Maximize opportunities for face-to-face contact with clients.
  • Plan, optimize, and execute effective business travel within corporate travel policies.
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinator and Graphic Designer to initiate customer projects and follow through to completion.
  • Work with Marketing, Production, and Quality departments to improve customer buying experience.
  • Identify product development opportunities through customer engagement and in-market observations.
  • Present new product lines and technology such as online ordering system and product launches.
  • Distribute weekly sales report to the company.
  • Complete quarterly sales report and attend on-site quarterly sales team meetings.
  • Work with Sales Coordinator to develop appropriate customer-facing reports and customer business review presentations.
