About The Position

Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company, the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for driven sales professionals who are effective at cold-calling and prospecting. The role emphasizes obtaining new business and requires great time management skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work well under stress. Candidates must consistently meet or exceed sales goals and demonstrate administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs. A positive attitude, professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork orientation are essential.

Requirements

• Proven sales/profitability track record.
• At least 2 years in the produce/food industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer/Client Focus.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (does not include marijuana).

Responsibilities

• Cold-calling and prospecting for new business.
• Managing a diverse, high-volume book of business with a focus on customer relations and client retention.
• Maintaining high customer satisfaction and growing new and preexisting industry relationships.
• Demonstrating administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs.
• Taking extra steps to ensure follow-through on details.
