In this role, you will represent Genius®, Global Payments' industry-leading, cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) and payment platform, which helps merchants simplify checkout, streamline operations, and grow their business. As an Outside Sales Executive, POS, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting, and closing sales of Genius® and related Global Payments technology solutions to small and mid-sized merchants across restaurant, retail, and service industries. You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and outreach to conducting in-person and virtual product demos and finalizing contracts, within a fast-moving, high-energy environment. You will collaborate closely with your District Manager and receive ongoing coaching and mentorship from leadership to ensure success. Your mission is to help business owners modernize their operations, improve customer experiences, and drive growth through innovative POS and payment technology.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time.
  • Must reside within the area of the job posting.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Genius® POS and Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized merchants.
  • Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community partnerships.
  • Conduct engaging product presentations and live demos showcasing how Genius® simplifies payment processing, inventory management, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with your District Manager to set appointments, identify opportunities, and close deals within a short sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate client records and pipeline activity in Atlas and Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Upsell and cross-sell existing clients on additional Global Payments services.
  • Stay up to date on POS and fintech industry trends to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with leadership.
