About The Position

Phipps distributes concrete accessories, concrete repair materials, sealants, and coatings to contractors so they can build or repair industrial and commercial buildings, infrastructure, concrete wearing surfaces, or the building envelope. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a passion for building long-term customer relationships in Greater Cleveland and surrounding area. This is an outside sales role with the expectation that the successful candidate will be physically calling on customer base in a face to face fashion. Bachelor Degree preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
  • Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation.
  • Strong territory management skills with a focus on results-oriented strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends for informed decision-making.
  • Experience in technology sales, particularly software solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calling to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Manage a defined list of accounts, developing strategic plans for growth within assigned accounts.
  • Manage complete timeline of the sales process, from new customer acquisition to well established customer.
  • Analyze market trends and customers need to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking and referrals.
  • Utilize CRM to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and report on progress.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on leads.
  • Participate in business development initiatives to expand market presence.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with major vendors to create growth strategies, execute growth objectives and tactics, as well as joint sales calls to strengthen account penetration.
  • Facilitate customer growth through product and equipment training seminars.
