The Outside Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the relationship building, planning and execution of outside sales opportunities. Main categories of focus include: hospitals and hospital systems, corporations and wellness organizations who are looking for the ability to outfit their staff or clients on their premises.

Requirements

  • Frequent moderate to heavy (20-50+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required
  • Travel, including overnight stays, required
  • Additional Requirements - Hours of work for this position may vary based on work schedule. Position requires moving around for periods of 2-4 hours without a rest break task sequencing, and using point-of-sale computers. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Outside Sales Manager to identify and generate sales opportunity leads within the greater Chicagoland area
  • Ensure a Fleet Feet fit experience is being maintained at outside (off-site) selling events
  • Create and plan assortments based on sales projections and opportunities
  • Manage and balance inventory before and after sales events
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure all vehicles, materials and product are being properly maintained and inventoried
  • Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities and functions
  • Work schedule will be based upon the demands of the business. In a typical week, this position will work 1-2 days out of the business office and 3-4 days off-site or at the distribution center based on sales opportunities being scheduled. In addition, during key company events additional time in the retail stores and/or offsite will be required
