About The Position

Bliffert Lumber is looking for an Outside Sales Coordinator to assist the outside sales person(s) in their day-to-day responsibilities and maintain a high level of customer service with new and/or established accounts. This position would be a full-time position with some remote work opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable using a computer and various programs - will be in front of a computer most of the day
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Communicate with outside sales person regularly to see what is needed
• Writing up orders and coordinating with dispatch teams at various yards for delivery of materials
• Assisting in pricing and producing quotes for various non-stock and special order items
• Working with vendors to get pricing and availability on items and placing orders for non stock materials.
• Working with quoting/sales tools available to us from various vendors
• Attaching order acknowledgements and various items in the system per Bliffert policy
• Reviewing plans with salesperson in order to fill out estimating forms and submitting to estimating team in a timely fashion
• Printing plans as needed
• Working with service team to provide necessary documentation when service is needed
• Operating as a 2nd point of contact as needed when salesperson is not available or on vacation/out of office
• Continuous education and knowledge building of various products and processes in the lumber industry
• Joining sales person on sales calls and walkthroughs occasionally as needed
