About The Position

We’re hiring a professional, consultative in-home sales consultant who can also perform hands-on fireplace/chimney inspections (including roof top chimney evaluations). If you’re a strong closer who likes technical problem-solving and being in the field—not behind a desk—this is for you. Requirements

  • 2+ years of in-home / outside sales (home services preferred)
  • Comfortable with heights and roof work (ladders, pitches, varying conditions)
  • Strong communication and professionalism in customers’ homes
  • Coachable, self-driven, and consistent with follow-up and documentation
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in the field

Nice To Haves

  • Roofing/exterior sales, HVAC comfort advisor, foundation/waterproofing, restoration, windows/doors, home inspection
  • Experience explaining technical issues clearly and presenting options without pressure

Responsibilities

  • Perform full fireplace/chimney/venting inspections (includes ladders, roofs, tight spaces, and attics as needed)
  • Deliver professional in-home consultative presentations and ask for the sale when appropriate
  • Build clear scopes of work, create accurate estimates, and recommend the right repair/rebuild/install options
  • Follow our no-pressure, trust-first sales process with consistent follow-up
  • Document inspections thoroughly (notes + photos) and track pipeline in our CRM
  • Coordinate with office and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Stay current on industry standards and complete ongoing training
