About The Position

Blake & Pendleton (B&P) is the largest Sullair Distributor in the Southeast. B&P offers highly unique services aimed at increasing energy efficiency and improving compressed air usage in customer’s plants and facilities. We are seeking a motivated, driven Entry-Level Outside Sales Associate to support our sales efforts in the compressed air industry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in industrial sales by learning technical products, developing customer relationships, and growing a defined sales territory. Training and mentorship will be provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Zero to Two (0–2) years of sales, customer service, or related experience
  • Interest in industrial, mechanical, or technical products (compressed air experience a plus, not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within assigned territory
  • Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, jobsite visits, and networking
  • Learn and sell compressed air equipment, parts, service, and solutions
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications
  • Coordinate with inside sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in CRM system
  • Attend product training, manufacturer training, and sales meetings as required
  • Support promotional activities, trade shows, and customer events
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and activity targets
