About The Position

We’re looking for a rising star in sales who can thrive in this dual landscape. We are seeking an innovative, experienced Account Executive with a passion for developing strong client relationships and driving strategic advertising results. In this consultative outside‑sales role, you’ll prospect qualified leads, uncover growth opportunities, and present compelling digital marketing solutions backed by our extensive, first‑class website, email newsletter subscriber base, and social media platforms. You will play a key role in acquiring new business, expanding existing relationships, and becoming a trusted marketing partner to clients throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and ambitious — someone who understands how to balance the needs of local small business advertisers with those of enterprise clients and agencies and can deliver on both ends of the spectrum.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • 3+ years in digital advertising sales or account management
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic advertising, and other digital channels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with CRM (daily use required)
  • Passionate about helping businesses succeed, from local shops to national brands
  • Operate as an independent contractor in a 100% remote work environment.
  • Provide your own computer, phone, high-speed internet and office space.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their marketing challenges and goals.
  • Grow your client list by having a focus on continued business development and growth.
  • Understand and articulate Mommy Poppins’ value proposition for small businesses, large enterprises, and agencies.
  • Develop and present strategic omni-channel marketing solutions to potential clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to closing and post‑sale follow‑through.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide proactive insights, updates, and recommendations.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
