About The Position

As an Outside Roofing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, inspecting properties, scheduling and meeting with insurance adjusters, and closing sales for exterior restoration projects. On a routine basis, Outside Sales Representatives will generate leads by door-knocking, prospecting insurance agents, and gaining referrals from current and previous customers. High-performing Outside Sales Representatives will be highly personable and must be willing to prospect in a variety of ways. Our Outside Sales Representatives must be capable of and comfortable setting a ladder and inspecting roofs. This is an entry-level role, and we have an excellent training program to help you succeed. However, if you’re afraid of heights, this is not a job for you.

Requirements

  • Has a valid driver's license and isn't afraid to climb roofs
  • Boasts some awesome people skills from customer-facing or sales roles (big plus if you do!)
  • Knows their way around a computer and is game to master our CRM software
  • Has a fire in the belly to meet (and smash) sales targets
  • Is open to feedback and eager to grow professionally
  • Plays well with others and thrives in a team setting
  • Communicates like a pro, both in writing and speaking
  • Organizes like a boss and solves problems like a detective
  • Holds honesty and top-notch customer service as non-negotiable values
  • Can build a friendly rapport with new and existing customers
  • Pays attention to the nitty-gritty and manages time effectively, especially when things get busy

Responsibilities

  • Contact and schedule meetings with homeowners to assess customer needs, educate them on roofing services, and provide helpful solutions
  • Utilize Storm Guard sales and marketing methods to generate leads and sell services
  • Maintain professional relationships with homeowners and third parties
  • Follow up and respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests
  • Request customer feedback through online reviews
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods, and safety requirements.
  • Commitment to personal and team goals
  • Must be comfortable climbing roofs and able to work evening and weekend hours!
