About The Position

Moscow & Pullman Building Supply is looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our Rental Department team. This is a hands-on, physically active position ideal for someone who isn't afraid to work hard, get a little dirty, and spend most of their day outdoors. In this role, you'll support the Rental Department by washing and maintaining equipment, loading and unloading rental items for customers, and assisting with equipment deliveries and pickups. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all rental equipment is in top shape and ready for the job. Requirements

  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Valid driver's license
  • Weekends Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with driving, towing, and hauling equipment or trailers
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Load and unload rental equipment safely and efficiently for customers and deliveries.
  • Clean and inspect returned rentals to ensure they are in good working condition and ready to rent again.
  • Identify and report when equipment is damaged or needs maintenance or repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on rental equipment such as fluid checks, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
  • Deliver and pick up rental equipment from customer job sites, ensuring timely and safe transport.
  • Apply logic and critical thinking when troubleshooting or addressing equipment or customer concerns.
  • Assemble rental items or attachments as needed to prepare equipment for customer use.
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe by following daily cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Work closely with the rental team and mechanics to support daily operations and customer needs.
