The Technician I - OSP must learn and possess the skills required to function as a contributing member of the OSP team. Typically, the Technician I - OSP possess no experience to one (1) year of experience in the structured cabling industry.
Pull cables of various sizes through underground duct bank systems
Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, manual labor and shovel work
Assist in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lead, or Supervisor
Keep the worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards
Fully complete all IES paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required)
Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency
Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a warehouse environment
Must have a basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum)
Must have intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to meet Company minimum driving standards
Must be able to use power tools
Must have the physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory
