As an Outside Plant Engineer (OPE), you'll support all phases of utility construction across a variety of telecom projects. In this role, you will: Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans for outside plant construction, ensuring effective scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination. Oversee projects through all phases of construction, conducting site walkouts, leading project meetings, and verifying that blueprints and plans align with actual field conditions. Perform accurate data entry and project tracking, maintaining up-to-date records in Excel, Smartsheet, and other project management tools. Ensure clear, consistent communication with all key stakeholders, including customers, hiring managers, engineers, and field crews. Travel to job sites as needed to perform quality checks, meet with teams, and implement project updates. Prepare and submit complete close-out packages, ensuring all documentation and as-built information meet customer and company standards. Meet customer deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
