Outside Parts Sales Representative

About the position

The Outside Parts Sales Representative at Kendall Auto Group is responsible for selling OEM and aftermarket parts to clients, including auto body shops and independent repair facilities. This role requires strong automotive parts experience and involves maintaining inventory records, assisting customers, and delivering parts. The position is integral to the fast-paced parts department, serving both the dealership's technicians and the wider community.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities via phone, fax, email, internet, or direct sales.
• Maintain inventory records and assist wholesale customers with parts needs.
• Obtain parts information and resolve issues related to parts orders.
• Create invoices, process orders, returns, and warranties.
• Receive parts from delivery and serve as a back-up retail parts person.
• Visit wholesale customers daily and deliver parts when needed.

Requirements

• Automotive parts experience, including inventory control.
• Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue, manufacturer programs, and warranties.
• Experience with manufacturer specific catalogues is preferred.
• Valid driver license and good driving record.
