As one of the first Club representatives members and guests interact with, this position ensures seamless arrival and departure while maintaining high standards in daily golf operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience preferred (golf environment a plus); service-oriented demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome members, guests, and PGA TOUR players upon arrival, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible
  • Remove golf bags from member’s and guest's vehicles and load them on a golf car. Where applicable, drive the golf car to the staging area
  • Provide helpful information about the course and club facilities
  • Assist members and guests as they depart from the facility, ensuring clubs are cleaned and carefully returned to members’ or guests’ vehicles
  • Work closely with Golf Shop staff to support daily play and uphold club policies, including dress code and beverage guidelines
  • Ensure members and guests do not carry their own clubs to/from the practice facility, in parking lot, or clubhouse areas
  • Pull, stage, and prepare golf cars for daily play
  • Deliver thoroughly cleaned and good operating cars that are stocked with clean towels, scorecards, pencils, and divot repair material
  • Drive dirtied golf cars to the car washing area; wash car, wipe down car, and stock for next use
  • At closing, drive golf cars into golf car facility and connect to battery chargers
  • Maintain a clean, organized golf car facility at all times
  • Monitor car condition and report maintenance needs; perform minor upkeep and maintain service records
  • Set up and rotate practice facility playing areas in accordance with maintenance programs
  • Operate the range picker to collect golf balls
  • Clean, sort, and bag practice balls; remove damaged balls from circulation
  • Replenish supply of practice balls throughout the day
  • Patrol practice areas and remove trash and debris
  • Support daily golf operations and special projects as assigned
