About The Position

Do you love golf and the outdoors? This position is part time seasonal and potentially carry into the winter. Hours are flexible based on the time of season. Requirements

Working knowledge of the game of golf
Dependability
Reliability - must have reliable transportation
Be friendly and outgoing, quick to greet members and guests
Work well as a member of a strong team and take pride in their work.
Excellent communication skills with members and staff
Starting in mid-April
Individual will need to be available April - End of October
Individual will need to be available during both week days and weekends.
Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking for anywhere between 5-12 hours daily. (Flexible based on the candidate)
Heavy lifting of items that could weigh in excess of 60 lbs. (Help from team members is always available)
Constant sitting, bending, carrying, reaching, stretching, and walking.
Ability to operate and clean golf cards and haul goods to different areas of the club.
Work is performed outdoors and exposure to hot and cold temperatures should be expected.

Responsibilities

Cordially greet members, guests and visitors upon arrival. Ascertain their needs and direct them accordingly
Provide assistance to golfers with golf clubs and luggage when arriving and department the club
Assist golfers in getting to and from the practice facility by loading clubs on golf carts and giving directions
Maintain clean work environment and assist the bag room and golf shop with nightly cleaning responsibilities
Clean and organize golf carts, and maintain their appearance and functionality throughout the day
