About The Position

The Outside Guest Service Agent at Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club is responsible for greeting guests, educating them on course conditions, rules, and pace of play. The role involves maintaining communication with the golf shop, cart staff, and ranger, monitoring tee times, and ensuring proper equipment storage and safety practices. This position is crucial in creating exceptional experiences for guests at the resort.

Requirements

• Possess excellent verbal communication and people relations skills.
• Must possess strong customer service skills and remain calm and work effectively in stressful situations.
• Must possess a general understanding of pace of play, golf terminology, and rules.
• Able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of two hours.

Responsibilities

• Greets each guest and educates them on course conditions, course rules and policies, and pace of play.
• Maintains communications from the first tee with golf shop, cart staff, and ranger.
• Monitors first tee, tee off times, turn times, and finish times; reporting irregularities and misuse of equipment and property.
• Ensures equipment is stored properly and safety practices are enforced.
