About The Position

A member of the outside staff is the first point of contact with a member and their guests. It is their job to assist these people with anything that they may need before, after and during the round, both on the driving range and at the staging area. There is little to no experience required as all tasks and responsibilities can be learned. Golf knowledge is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Must have a high school education or equivalent
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s License (16+ years of age)
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guest with amenities
• Control of golf cart use and cleanliness
• Control golf cart storage area use and cleanliness
• Control cart staging area
• Control driving range and short game area set-up, interim, and closing
• Assist with set-up and running golf tournaments
• Keep stock of supplies
• Assist with golf clinics
• Maintain practice tee amenities and cleanliness
• Clean golfer’s clubs after completion of play and at driving range
• Pick driving range as necessary
• Keep range balls clean
• Maintain short game area
• Enforce dress code
• Inform players about Club’s amenities
• Communicate with Professional Staff
• Police for trash and clean golf related areas
• Assist the Professional Staff as needed
• Other duties as assigned
