About The Position
The General Laborer supports daily operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure facilities, equipment, and work areas are safe, efficient, and well maintained. This role is essential to keeping operations running smoothly and supporting multiple departments as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED. Prefer one year of background in operations, grain, feed milling, maintenance, or another related area but willing to train.
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk and be on feet for 8 to 10 hours a day, longer during certain seasons
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, and kneel
- Capable to do repeated actions
- Effectively communicate with team members
- Able to climb and withstand heights
- Valid driver’s license is a requirement.

Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Assist with facility and yard maintenance, including cleaning and organizing work areas
- Support equipment setup, operation assistance, and basic maintenance
- Handle products and materials safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Assist drivers, operators, and supervisors with daily operational tasks
- Follow all safety, biosecurity, and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or maintenance needs promptly
- Assist other departments as needed based on operational demands
